Bit of an underwhelming experience, sadly!
The hotel itself was lovely, overlooking the bay, good location and great to sit and watch the boats comings and goings. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Made some good suggestions.The restaurant was able to find us a table, we thought we had booked a table via bookings.com which we were told doesn't filter through to the restaurant team. We booked the hotel for an occasion so spent a bit more per night than normal, the hotel arranged for a lovely choc covered strawberry plate sent up to our room which we thought was a nice touch.
The water in the shower was scolding hot with the water temperature not making any difference whichever way you turn it. We didn't report as we were leaving, but worth mentioning especially if you have children. The room was uncomfortably warm at night, we were in a classic double with courtyard view. We had a meal in the restaurant, this was underwhelming and overpriced, the restaurant was quite busy when we got there, although there seemed to be adequate numbers of staff working, it took 10 minutes plus before our drinks order was taken, the service was slow for us, we personally wouldn't stay here again, not value for money for the accomodation/food/drink/service in the restaurant, but we understand you're paying a premium for the location. Maybe a bad experience but a customer lost is a customer not retuning, this is the only hotel I can say that about over the course of our holiday and was the one we were most looking forward to!

Well up to usual standard
Location is very good with lovely views, parking can be troublesome at busy times though.Breakfast was ok but a bit pricey, evening meal was good.Room was good for the price.
Parking not so good if it is busy. Breakfast ordinary for the quite high price.
